that is a wonderful bed and breakfast place. thanks to owner who was helpful and hospitable. beautiful garden next to the nature area. we had a cycling tour that owner gave us two bicycle for free. breakfast was also really good. if you are with car and want to add a city visit for your trip, you can reach to Groningen in 20 min, not so far. you can use the Hoogkerk P+R parking. Parking is free over there. you just need to use bus which is 10 min to city center and very frequently. that is 6 euro wit return ticket up to 5 people.

There was plenty of variety for food from local food to chinese/ indian . walking around the town at night you felt safe and welcome from very friendly locals. Plenty of small bars to visit at night a great supermarket and loads of small shops. A short five minute walk and you arrive at the start of a canal with a superb windmill and museum. A fantastic town for a short break.

Lovely town very friendly people and very helpful Just be careful of how late you wish to eat as you may be disappointed and have to find a macdonalds. Good motoway train bus and cycle links, plenty of places to visit with the TT Track about 20mins away with the coast about 40mins drve away. Go dutch and enjoy your stay.

Hotel in very good location, nearby Groningen. Travelled for work and stayed for 3 nights. Did not spend too much time in the hotel beside during sleeping hours. Very friendly staff offered me a coffee very early in the morning despite the fact that it was too early for breakfast. Also forgot something when I left which was no problem whatsoever, was posted with no worries. So in conclusion, nice hotel with excellent staff and all things a hotel needs. Definitely come back if I'm in the vicinity!

A perfect place to spend some time in Zuidlaren. Centrally located, spotlessly clean, good sized rooms, great breakfast, friendly and helpful owners - what more could you want? We loved our stay in Hoeve de Vredenhof. Zuidlaren is a great place to do some walking, cycling and bird watching. It has a wide variety of restaurants to choose from and great coffee. We will come back and stay at Hoeve de Vredenhof.

Eric is a very friendly host, everything is in place and prepared with great care, very clean and comfortable. The location is also very central in Zuidlaren which is a very quiet village only a short bus ride to Groningen. Lovely breakfast buffet as well. Really enjoyed my stay and chatting with Eric. Will book again next time I’m in Groningen.

The hotel located in Berk area, it's 25 min on the buss or car from the City of Groningen, the hotel manager very helpful, brilliant food, its good value for the money, good size of the room.Near by they have many shops, if you need it. Within easy distance of the town and supermarket. Room on the ground floor so super easy for getting luggage in and out. Bathroom was spotless with a lovely big shower. Comfortable bed. Host has lots of knowledge of public transport options if walking the Pieterpad and need to return to Zuidlaren from Rolde.

Fantastic value for money. Great location for walking the Pieterpad. There was a fairground (kermis) out front and tgey called to warn us. In the end our room was at the otger dide of tge hotel and we didn't hear anything.

Nice stuff at reception upon arrival, even with free Olieballen on new years eve. The room was clean and for our use well equipped. Parking for free either behind the hotel or on the other side of the street.

Nice room for three persons. Front-size rooms of the hotel range over two stores and have two bedrooms. Comfortable and clean rooms, nice hotel, not particularly modern. Good service.
